I've upped the anti once more with Mixt APE and have, after this four month bout of silence, decided to give you these following podcasts of mine at 320kbps, 44,100kHz and CBR (Constant Bit Rate).

These files will average 75-80MB each. I think it's worth it considering the majority of ISPs are giving broadband at 2MB+ nowadays.

Well today is the day before my birthday and i thought i'd do you two shows, one today with the normal 9 track goodies along with another podcast release tomorrow with 15 of my fave tracks.

Hope things are well with you all out there in the world, my teacher training is continuing rather well and i shall be introducing Shakespeare's The Merchant Of Venice to a class on thursday i think. which will be daunting but fun at the same time heh.

apart from that not a lot is going on in my life, saving up for the Canon EOS 350D (possibly the 400 if i have enough cash) and then i shall be taking many a more photo for my flickr space.

well this podcast is a bit of a cheat onm y part. i chose pretty much one song and left the rest to two mates of mine (thanks K and Stern).

it's a good cast i think and some might argue it's the best one out there from the back catalogue of Mixt APE shows since i didn't really make it. but i don't care. it's got good tracks and i like it and i hope you do.

i start my teaching course on monday 18th and i feel mad with glee about becoming a teacher at A Level standard. should be a good laugh (but busy busy busy).

but yeah, not much else has happened apart from work, which i may continue on a part time basis, depending on whether i get a job at my old primary school. fingers crossed heh.

Well i've been working now for two days. 9-5 and in the sun. it's non-challenging work in the brain dept. but it pays ok. i work as a General Assistant at Powerleague Sccercentres (sponsored by XBOX would you know) and i basically take care of the place. making sure it looks nice for everyone.

but yes, hope you enjoy this podcast and the sounds that emanate. i shall be back with you in a weeks time when i'm sure i can digest the happenings of my week into a few lines. it's bound to happen.

Here is a 15 track podcast of some of my favourite (and hopefully yours too ) bands. I've taken the tracks from their first or early records and will be doing another show later with tracks from their most recent records to have a gander at where they've moved onto in regards to their music.

I hope this is as good an idea as I thought it would be and i might carry it on with more bands later down the line, depending on whether it's a success. which to me it obviously is.

I can't believe it. After a year of solid hard work the man Tane has decided to leave the land of podcasting for the pressures of the real world and all the wonders of working for REAL money.

It's been a pleasure listening to and working with Tane over the past year. Had a great episode dedicated to John Peel (upset i didn't pull my finger out and get my two tracks on there heh) which went down a storm and i hope you all the best for the future mate.

My god. it's the 40th show of Mixt APE. i totally hadn't banked on going on this long. but first my deepest apologies for lack of a show last week. i've been bogged down with trying to find jobs and am currently on the Gateway course for New Deal Job Seeker's. i won't go into detail, it isn't that exciting.

thank you all those who have listened and keep on listening to the show, i appreciate it in more than words could express. so, Thank You.

Well. I found out today that the Masters degree i was hoping to get at Birkbeck University in London for Creative Writing has been turned down. And pretty much that's my life plans thrown into the washing machine.

of course i have another avenue i can follow, Brunel Uni in London with a similar course which i shall apply for soon and hope to get. But i wish i was able to have the things i truly want and i won't say what because that's personal info.

These songs are just reflecting my train of thought in some ways plus i just really like them lots so i decided to make a cast because that's what i enjoy doing for you guys; giving you tracks from various artists that i love for you to enjoy.

if there's a piece of advise i can give, it's fight for what you want, no matter what slim chance there might be in achieving the things yuo desire, you won't know unless you do. fighting doesn't always work i guess but like i say (or like a very famous being once said); do or do not, there is no try.

No podcast last week, i literally had death knocking atmy door asking for my soul in a pink box with red ribbons.

That horribe stomach flu/bug/death virus that's been going around was passed on to me by a fellow lip holder. Wasn't nice i can tell you.

RIght, anyway, here's the 34th show for you a week late but with some crashing tunes for you.

No one from upcoming bands, i kinda just threw this one together since i'm still not feeling myself at the mo, head is spinning at an Earthly rate.

So we've hit a 3rd of the way through to 99 podcasts. aren't you EXCITED? i am.

Got two tracks here on the podcast from two bands who i have played with live and it has to be said they rocked the venue. Both with varying styles and with as much punch as a boxer can give an old lady made of onions, i welcome you; Rev Counter and Ingrey. It was great to play with them live and i believe there will be another upcoming show where hopefully i'll get to play alongside them again! check out their website for further details on how to find out about gigs. it's worth a visit.

We also have another artist flying under the Kerosene Media banner and they are opening this podcast, it's Kill Cheerleader who are a great band and again are worth a listen to. and i know you'll listen because you love Mixt APE.

I just love Green Day and have been a fan since i was about 15. Nimrod is their best album i find simply because it's harsher and more emotional than the others.

God, how depressing was that post? I just re-read it and it made me feel like i wanted to kill myself. So i thought i'd cheer this blog up a bit. The tracks are chosen for their deep and heartened meaning to my soul, i feel... i feel i can connect with themusic and pull out the strings of justice that entombed our very lives (for those of you who don't know me, i over-dramatasise and am quite sarcastic from time to time). i'd like to thank the people watchin the PodcastPickle forums and the Britcaster forums, thanks to those of you who managed to get a listen in from those sites.

also i'd like to thank my pc, my speaker, my mic and you the audience. just because you're last doesn't make you any less meaningful.

Welcome one and all. This is a new podcast for all you crazy minx's out there. It's gonna be a mixture of punk, metal, swing, ambient and experimental with some hints and twists of electronic. I have to say that i'm excited about doing this. i've had the very very excellent pleasure of listening and in fact starring in one of my friend's podcasts; My Silver Mount Zion, which i'm sure you've heard of. They've had a fantastic selection of shows. i hope Rob keeps it up and we get appearances from Steve every so often. Miss you guys. But as for Mixt APE you can experience music that i enjoy and i hope you too shall enjoy. So, listen in and listen loud to the sounds that dart your way and stay ituned.
