Well today is the day before my birthday and i thought i'd do you two shows, one today with the normal 9 track goodies along with another podcast release tomorrow with 15 of my fave tracks.

Hope things are well with you all out there in the world, my teacher training is continuing rather well and i shall be introducing Shakespeare's The Merchant Of Venice to a class on thursday i think. which will be daunting but fun at the same time heh.

apart from that not a lot is going on in my life, saving up for the Canon EOS 350D (possibly the 400 if i have enough cash) and then i shall be taking many a more photo for my flickr space.

Well the show just keeps on going doens't it. I love the Blues Brothers and i had to put that track on, one of the best things i've some back to listening to in a while.

Start my observation of classes tomorrow to further my knowledge and understanding of teaching. Watch out all you kids, i could be in YOUR class.

so here is almost the 50th show of Mixt APE. the 50th anniversary shall be a whopper i tell you that. a whole 15 tracks i reckon back to back, as always.

the week has been pretty good, the two weeks actually have been pretty good, work paid me, good. college is ace and teaching will soon be driving force. theories and practical teaching are enforcing my confidence and overall self esteem.

though life has it's down as well but trying not to think about those right now. preoccupying myself as much as poss to be honest.

well this podcast is a bit of a cheat onm y part. i chose pretty much one song and left the rest to two mates of mine (thanks K and Stern).

it's a good cast i think and some might argue it's the best one out there from the back catalogue of Mixt APE shows since i didn't really make it. but i don't care. it's got good tracks and i like it and i hope you do.

i start my teaching course on monday 18th and i feel mad with glee about becoming a teacher at A Level standard. should be a good laugh (but busy busy busy).

but yeah, not much else has happened apart from work, which i may continue on a part time basis, depending on whether i get a job at my old primary school. fingers crossed heh.

Well i've been working now for two days. 9-5 and in the sun. it's non-challenging work in the brain dept. but it pays ok. i work as a General Assistant at Powerleague Sccercentres (sponsored by XBOX would you know) and i basically take care of the place. making sure it looks nice for everyone.

Here is a 15 track podcast of some of my favourite (and hopefully yours too ) bands. I've taken the tracks from their first or early records and will be doing another show later with tracks from their most recent records to have a gander at where they've moved onto in regards to their music.

I can't believe it. After a year of solid hard work the man Tane has decided to leave the land of podcasting for the pressures of the real world and all the wonders of working for REAL money.

It's been a pleasure listening to and working with Tane over the past year. Had a great episode dedicated to John Peel (upset i didn't pull my finger out and get my two tracks on there heh) which went down a storm and i hope you all the best for the future mate.

My god. it's the 40th show of Mixt APE. i totally hadn't banked on going on this long. but first my deepest apologies for lack of a show last week. i've been bogged down with trying to find jobs and am currently on the Gateway course for New Deal Job Seeker's. i won't go into detail, it isn't that exciting.

Well. I found out today that the Masters degree i was hoping to get at Birkbeck University in London for Creative Writing has been turned down. And pretty much that's my life plans thrown into the washing machine.

of course i have another avenue i can follow, Brunel Uni in London with a similar course which i shall apply for soon and hope to get. But i wish i was able to have the things i truly want and i won't say what because that's personal info.

These songs are just reflecting my train of thought in some ways plus i just really like them lots so i decided to make a cast because that's what i enjoy doing for you guys; giving you tracks from various artists that i love for you to enjoy.

if there's a piece of advise i can give, it's fight for what you want, no matter what slim chance there might be in achieving the things yuo desire, you won't know unless you do. fighting doesn't always work i guess but like i say (or like a very famous being once said); do or do not, there is no try.

No podcast last week, i literally had death knocking atmy door asking for my soul in a pink box with red ribbons.

That horribe stomach flu/bug/death virus that's been going around was passed on to me by a fellow lip holder. Wasn't nice i can tell you.

Both with varying styles and with as much punch as a boxer can give an old lady made of onions, i welcome you; Rev Counter and Ingrey. I just love Green Day and have been a fan since i was about 15. Nimrod is their best album i find simply because it's harsher and more emotional than the others.

Well i managed to somehow get some broadband, don't ask how. I might have to kill you. Anyway since i was able to achieve this wonderful feat i have whipped a 9 track cast for you without a Sterry Slot, shockhorror! He didn't answer his phone so i couldn't get a track off him for your ears to mutilate. Instead there's 9 tracks of mine. But Sterry shall return on the next cast i promise you that. Well this is the tenth show of Mixt APE. It's got a lot of what i like to call 'good' music. It hopefully should have something for everyone. Well, the majority of people. Maybe even some of the minority.

i'll tell you this, trying to sort out 8Meg internet isn't as easy as 123. or ABC. or even trix. or the grand prix. in fact, changing the wiring at the exchange apparently takes a week longer than what you ordered. it annoys me no end.

God, how depressing was that post? I just re-read it and it made me feel like i wanted to kill myself. So i thought i'd cheer this blog up a bit. The tracks are chosen for their deep and heartened meaning to my soul, i feel... i feel i can connect with themusic and pull out the strings of justice that entombed our very lives (for those of you who don't know me, i over-dramatasise and am quite sarcastic from time to time). These tracks were simply chosen when i was on a bit of a downer, but they're still ace tracks. so i hope you enjoy them.

The Sterry Slot is simply a track selected from my mate Sterry. his methods of music delve a little darker than mine. His desire for the best Black or Death metal band to be submitted to Mixt APE has made him go feverish in his attempts. So i have had to give in to the man and give him a weekly slot of one track heh. You can expect, as i said above, tracks from Black and Death metal bands as well as branching into his recent lust for the Eastern world of J-Rock. i can assure you you will be missing out if you decide to not listen to his picks of the week. so stay tuned and get ready for the introduction of 'The Sterry Slot'.

Welcome one and all. This is a new podcast for all you crazy minx's out there. It's gonna be a mixture of punk, metal, swing, ambient and experimental with some hints and twists of electronic. I have to say that i'm excited about doing this. i've had the very very excellent pleasure of listening and in fact starring in one of my friend's podcasts; My Silver Mount Zion, which i'm sure you've heard of. They've had a fantastic selection of shows. i hope Rob keeps it up and we get appearances from Steve every so often. Miss you guys.
